Norfolk was perceived as a ‘backwater’ and
holiday destination by UK business leaders.
The council wished to alter this perception,
attracting new advocates to the quality of
Norfolk businesses and the skills of its workforce.
HOW ‘BUILDING BRILLIANT’ SOLVED THE PROBLEM
We led an ambassadorial approach to bring the
County’s many stakeholders onboard. By
educating and enthusing those of influence in
Norfolk to the shared cause, we gained
substantial free coverage for our ‘World Class –
Normal for Norfolk’ campaign.
The campaign reached some 15 million people,
and saw an increase in knowledge-based jobs
and inward investment enquiries. More
importantly, it changed perceptions of Norfolk.
